A photo posted by Scion by Toyota (@scion) on

Earlier this year, Toyota announced that it will be absorbing the Scion brand after thirteen years. The fun and exciting brand served as a way for Toyota to evaluate a number of new products, and to attract a newer, younger customer base. Scion sold more than one million vehicles during its run, and was consistently the youngest brand in the industry, with 50 percent of customers being under the age of 35...

With a name like Sequoia, you best believe this vehicle is solid. Toyota Sienna Doesn't Take First Place, But You Won't Believe How It Performed on Track

The Sienna R-Tuned, a modified stock Toyota Sienna, was entered into One Lap of America 2016, one of the most intense seven-day racing events in the U.S.

Toyota Plays Cowboy with Explosive Hydrogen Tank

Toyota decided to strap on its boots and spurs, and swagger into town for a quick-draw with none other than a tank of compressed hydrogen.

The tank comes from the new Toyota Mirai, which creates zero emissions by relying on renewable hydrogen fuel. It has approximately a 300-mile range, and fuels up in under 5 minutes.

However, because hydrogen is a gas at room temperature, it takes a huge amount of pressure to store it as a liquid. This makes some people worry that it could explode if ruptured in a collision.

That's where the gunplay comes in. To…

One Arkansas City Keeps the Peace with Toyota Camry Hybrid Police Cars

Our neighbors to the west were recently featured in a short documentary by filmmaker Peter Byck, and you won't believe why.

Hybrid Law from Peter Byck on Vimeo.

Hybrids have been up-and-coming for a long time, since Toyota introduced the Prius to North America about 16 years ago. One of the final hurdles remaining for the hybrid is the perception that they are underpowered.

That's what Al Harris, Arkadelphia Chief of Police, believed.

He admits he knew almost nothing about hybrids before City Manager Jimmy Bolt pushed him to replace 10 aging Crown Victoria cruisers with the
